Rules of membership

1. Individuals within the area of benefit are entitled to apply for membership in accordance with the association’s equal opportunities policy at such fees as the management committee may determine.

2. Membership subscriptions to be paid in full immediately they become due. A reminder will be sent two weeks before the due date. If subscriptions are not received within 28 days of the due date membership will lapse and all associated benefits cease.

3. Members wishing to hire the hall must abide by the booking regulations. A copy of which are available from the secretary.

4. Allens Cross Community Association/Centre is open to all. Everyone should be made to feel welcome. Therefore the following behaviour is not acceptable;

a. Attacks on individuals or groups on any grounds, colour, sex, disability etc.

b. Discriminatory name-calling.

c. Encouraging people to harass or discriminate against other individuals or groups.

d. Provocative behaviour such as wearing racist/fascist insignia.

e. Bringing into the premises offensive materials/literature that could cause offence.

5. The Management Committee reserves the right for good and sufficient reason to refuse, suspend or terminate membership.
